11 - 14 Years

Diversified Learning

Improving complex technique, specific movement qualities, effort capacity, and competitive tasks. Extensive fundamentals.

15 - 16 Years

Consolidation & Entry To Performance

High/Maximum complexity of specific effort for performance building objectives (match related) – consolidation and competitive aims.

High Performance Regime

Optimal match and competition performance, form consistency and winning mentality – high performance regime and excellence maximizing potential.

DEFENSIVE Play

- Compact but flexible organization (8-12m distance)
- Collective team effort to regain possession by sustained pressure
- Use mini defensive units of 2-3 players to pressure and dispossess
- Rapid repositioning (triangles)
- Controlled aggressiveness – "no foul mentality"
- Defensive anticipation
- Defenders good in 1v1, ground and in the air

Offensive Play

- Construct, support, and complete attacks using multi-functional ability
- Change point of attack
- Create space through intelligent rotations and interchanging positions
- Individual 1v1 actions and dribbling with quick decisive penetration
- Increased speed of passing by a sudden increased tempo
- Short and ultra-short combination passing (inside 2m) with variations of pace and surprise

Transition Play

- Early pressing immediately after losing possession
- Cutting off short passing lanes by squeezing the opponent's space
